Volcanoes’ Night was organised between 2012-2015. We estimate that the total number of participants at the Nights were over 20 thousand whilst information on this project has reached millions. During the four years of existence the project mobilised a wide range of local partners, actors, supporters and collaborators, to whom we are the most grateful, they are listed here . Volcanoes’ Night 2012
In 2012 we organised Volcanoes’ Night in Fuencaliente (La Palma). This was the first time in the history of European Researchers’ Nights that an event was dedicated exclusively to geosciences. A unique methodology was developed and implemented to raise awareness for the work of geologists and volcanologists among the public. *
